This Zuni Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Watch Cuff is absolutely gorgeous ladies, and it is the best of the best! Your correct size: you must measure the circumference of your wrist. You can use a cloth tape measure, a ¼” strip of paper or a cord to wrap around your wrist and mark it. Lay it out flat and measure the length against a ruler, that’s your exact circumference and the size you wear. The Leekyas are known for their heavy stone work and this husband and wife team have been making award winning pieces like this since 1953. Robert was one of the first Zuni to make nugget jewelry like this. They are referenced in Wright’s “Hallmarks of the Southwest”, Schaaf’s “American Indian Jewelry II”, Nahohai’s, “Zuni: A Village of Silversmiths” and Bassman’s “Zuni Jewelry”.
