Designed by custom knifemaker, Rick Hinderer, and premium-built by Zero Tolerance knives, the 0562CF Hinderer Slicer Carbon Fiber is a sleek, durable pocket knife perfect for EDC, the 0562CF uses an ultra-premium CPM-20CV stainless steel precision blade with a dual stonewash and satin finish to offer users outstanding edge holding capacity and corrosion resistance. The Hinderer flat-ground ?slicer? grind provides both slicing efficiency and a tough point. The two-toned finished blade creates a classic and modern look, especially when paired with black carbon fiber front and stonewashed titanium back handles. The knife opens with a flipper and moves out of the handle with a smooth KVT-ball bearing opening system. The reversible deep-carry pocketclip enables both left and right-handed users to tip-up carry the knife comfortably and low in pockets. Hinderer flat-ground ?slicer? grind provides both slicing efficiency and a tough point; two-toned reflective finish contrasted stonewash finish gives knife a rugged look. Stonewashed finish gives the blade surface a desirable roughened or scuffed look and helps hide scratches, fingerprints and dirt. Manually opens with Kershaw?s KVT ball-bearing system that makes manual opening as easy as assisted without the need for a mechanical assist; when the blade is fully closed, a depression in the blade is engaged by a ball partially embedded in the liner of handle. When the user pulls back on the built-in flipper with jimping for greater grip security, the blade rotates out of the handle as the ball bearings roll in place, providing leverage for greater frictionless blade deployment. Handle has carbon fiber front scale and stonewashed titanium back. Reversible pocketclip is user-adjustable for either left or right-handed, tip-up carry, for convenient ambidextrous use. Strong deep-carry pocketclip attaches to either side of the knife at the butt of the knife allowing knife to sit comfortably in the corner of the pocket. Hardened titanium steel lockbar insert and lockbar stabilization within frame lock firmly secures the blade in place during use and will not become unsteady, restricting any wiggle room or blade play.
