Zuni Inlaid Sunface Spinner Cuff This Zuni Inlaid Sunface Spinner Cuff by Don Dewa is a signature style for him and it is outstanding! This unique combination of style and wonderful mix of stone and shell offers amazing southwest style. A kachina sunface spins around to alternate with a striped geometric design with both a stone to stone mosaic and a Sterling channel fitting. Don used genuine Turquoise, Spiny Oyster, Mother of Pearl and Jet to create these wonderful designs. He finished the sides with organic free-form shapes. It’s 1-1/4″ wide at the center and will best fit a 6-1/4″ to 6-1/2″ wrist. It’s fully hallmarked and stamped Sterling. If the wow factor needs to be in your life, then prepare to be impressed with this Zuni Inlaid Sunface Spinner Cuff….it’s awesome! Your correct wrist size: you must measure the circumference of your wrist. You can use a cloth tape measure, a ¼” strip of paper or a cord to wrap around your wrist and mark it. Lay it out flat and measure the length against a ruler, that’s your exact circumference and the size you wear. Don is an award winning and innovative artisan, who began making jewelry in 1970. About 1990, he learned mosaic inlay from his mother-in-law, Lorretta Quam Eriacho. He is referenced in so many jewelry books, that we can’t list them all here. A few are: Bassman’s “Zuni Jewely”, Bell’s “Zuni: The Art and the People Vol II”, Schaaf’s “American Indian Jewelry I” and Schiffer’s “Southwest American Indians: Evolving Designs”.
